: Manufacuring Informaton System
This software is a comprehensive manufacturing supervision and control
application. The software assists, monitors and records test data for a
multi station assembly process. The key (first) station creates a
serial number for the product being manufactured and the final station
prints the bar code for the completed, finished and accepted product.
At each station, relevent information required for the assembly process
is displayed on a screen and the local test data for the assembly stage
(data captured from the testing machine) is recorded permenently. This
assists in tracablity. Each shipped component can be traced to its
shift and quality check results. The tracability is upto to the
supervisor and operator level. Data about the product and the test
results are stored in a SQL compliant database server.
